Did you make Aliyah? Sign-up for the next Know Your Rights seminar

If you have already made Aliyah or are contemplating it, this post is for you.

In the past few years I have met up with many Olim who not only didn’t know how to read their pay slip, Hebrew aside, but didn’t even know the most basic Israeli Labor laws, what their rights are as an employee or when they are terminated and that’s just for starters.

Let’s start at the beginning:

1. Learn Hebrew.
This will help you understand what’s going on, enhance your chances of landing a job and also enable you to interact in all facets of life in Israel, as well as enabling you to read your payslip.

2. Know your rights.
There are many different ways to obtain this information – unfortunately it’s almost entirely in Hebrew. Israpay’s site is here for you in your language: with Q & A, Blog posts and translation of labor laws and regulations into English.

Now available mini-seminars:
“Israeli Payroll Simplified”
that will teach you the basics so you can stand up for what you rightfully deserve, by law !
Don’t let your employer not give you what he is obligated by law !
know what to expect, and more importantly, how to deal with it !

Learn:
* Basic Hebrew payroll terminology
* Understanding the Israeli pay slip
* How taxes are figured
* Employee’s rights, Labor laws: overtime pay, women’s rights, maternity leave, severance pay, advance notice and much more !
